Ongoing and recent developments have led to a re-evaluation of the way we live, how we are to meet our basic need for shelter without the crippling debt that traditional housing entails. Lucid has become expert in small, modular and achievable architecture, especially but not limited to, the conversion of standard used shipping containers into dwellings. Other methods involve prefabricated SIPS panels and conventional timber framing. If the structure is 10m2 or below you may not even require a building consent, depending on use.
