/ / CONTRACT SCOPE: Salon design concept + documentation, establish budgets, apply for building consent and supervise the construction of the fitout.
/ / ABOUT: Mike’s brief to us was for a salon that was “smooth, slick, clean and retro”. Functionally it had to be easy to work in, low on clutter and be able to display a lot of Mike’s hair product range. The images show the resulting design with a limited (black + white) palette, smooth lines, and rounded rectangular forms with product displayed everywhere.
After this project was done, Mike asked us to extend the salon providing space for more workstations and an updated, “more glamorous” look. Below are a couple of concept images to show this new direction. It has been a great experience working with such a talented client who never stands still or rests on his achievements.
